This Non-Profit does wonderful work. At this present time, we are looking for a Pro Bono Attorney to assist for a case regarding Senior & Disabled individuals. Anyone interested in Northern California please let me know.
The current case, as noted in my profile, deals with a Mobilehome Park Owner that wants more money from Senior Citizens and Disabled Citizens that live and own Mobileomes placed on Santiago Communities, Inc. property. The Mobilehome Resident/Owners have filed this petition with the assistance of UP WITH PEOPLE LEGAL.
An Amended WRIT OF MANDATE and COMPLAINT FOR DAMAGES is to be filed and served by February 18, 2013.
The Santiago Communities, Inc. via Concord Gardens, has filed a suit against the City of Concord, the Hearing Officer a Retired Judge - Judge James Trembath, and included "Party of Interest" as the Homeowner/Residents of Dalis Gardens (their other name for this property is Concord Gardens Mobilehome Park in Concord, California).
The Contra Costa Times has an article regarding this case/situation that it printed on the second page of the January 26, 2013 paper, written on 1/25/2013. here is the article's link: http://www.mercurynews.com/top-stories/ci_22450041/concord-mobile-home-residents-angered-by-rent-increase
Please take a look at the article, read my profile and see if there is anything your firm can do to assist with this case.
Thank you to all, and Happy New Year! - Theresa
